Boy lost in art gallery.
A Voice of the Child Report can be a useful, expeditious, and cost-efficient way of allowing the perspectives of children to be shared, and can promote settlement. A brief interview is conducted with each parent in order to gain the context for the issues at hand. After two to three interviews with the children to obtain veracity and consistency of their views, a report is prepared.

The report does not provide any recommendations, but rather summarizes the children’s perceptions and preferences, focusing on what the children have stated in the interviews. Children, in general, are pleased that their views have been taken into account.
